Aggregate / stone / rock gives a nice look that you do not have to replenish multiple times a year. There are many colors, sizes and patterns out there. Depending on the material will depend on if it is aggregate, rock, stone or other type base. We can special order different types that may not be here locally for additional fees and delivery lengths of times. When installing aggregate / stone / rock, you need to make sure you give the plants enough room to breath and install felt before the rock. The felt keeps the rock from sinking into the ground. The typical aggregate / stone / rock around this area used is the Tennessee river rock, white rock, 57 stone, crush and run and some others. Some aggregate / stone / rock can get mildew or mold on them if they are not moved around some or sprayed to assist with keeping them clean. The square foot will vary on coverage due to size and type of aggregates / stone / rock. Installing rock is one of the harder jobs to do in yard work. It is very time consuming and takes a lot of strength for that heavy material. When installing this material, you must make sure that wen selling your property, that it will resell or add value to your house. You do not want to install something that takes a lot of time and money to install it for most people to not want it in that yard. This material is very good, but you must be willing to spend a lot of money on this installation when using it. Every so often you may have to spread lightly over the years some more to fill in bare spots, but not yearly. Feel free to contact our company to have aggregate / stone / or rock installed.
